I cant find any info on this potential storm. My impression is anywhere from 6-12 inches but I dont know if the local Pocono weathercasters have started discussing it

All the weather.com says is snow, not how much..maybe they aren't sure yet. We have to keep an eye out for any alerts or warnings.
"... THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR ANOTHER MAJOR WINTER STORM TO AFFECT OUR AREA FROM LATE TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING...
.AN EXPLOSIVELY DEVELOPING NOR/EASTER MAY BRING HEAVY SNOW TO MUCH OF OUR AREA STARTING LATE TUESDAY AND TUESDAY EVENING AND PERSISTING THROUGH WEDNESDAY."
"Explosively developing"...I think they are getting more creative with the descriptions, though it's probably hard to top "the snowcapalypse" that I've been reading about.
I just read a story on msnbc about the storm that hit DC and they mentioned that another storm on Tuesday might dump 5" more on the city, if that is any indication.
My sister, in Baltimore, is saying that they are calling for the potential for another 8 to 10 inches. She already got hammered with about 26 inches with the recent storm. I have been kidding her that she is living in the snow belt! I guess their vehicles are trapped and wires are down. They don’t know how to handle this white stuff down there. I have another sister outside DC and she took off to Miami for a month.
I think that this coming storm is going to be hard to predict. Our cold weather has been protecting us this winter.
Weather.com has a winter storm warning now calling for 10-18" total accumulation. Looks like it's slated to begin 4pm Tuesday and continue until midnight Wednesday.
Oh joy!!! And I suppose to travel to Hartford CT on Wednesday morning.![]()
Either that or get the sled dogs ready.
wfmz.com called for 6-12" in our area but stressed that it could change with a 20-30 mile shift (or more) in the weather pattern. Once again, the Philly area is predicted to get more. We've been relatively lucky thus far as we've dodged at least 3 snow "bullets" this winter. But, eventually our luck may run out.
I think we are going to have an "Old Fashion Snow Day" tomorrow.
I just heard a forecast on the radio that said those SE of I-81 were going to have an even heavier accumulation. I just wish I knew when this was supposed to begin. I've heard estimates ranging from 1pm through 8pm!
